Mulch Film

Mulch films are the cover over the soil which commonly used for weed suppression in fruit and vegetables along with the plantations in the field, protects plants from direct contact with the ground so the crop remains clean which means less diseases while controlling soil temperature and allow rapid root growth.

Transparent
  • Increases soil temperature
  • Earlier growth (Precocity)
  • Reduce evaporation, soil waterloss
Black
  • Prevent the growth of weeds
  • Better yields
  • Reduce evaporation, soil water loss
Black
White
  • Prevent the growth of weeds
  • Better yields
  • Reflects the light
  • Reduce evaporation, soil water loss
Black
Silver
  • Insect repellent
  • Prevent the growth of weeds
  • Better yields
  • Reflects the light
  • Reduce evaporation, soil water loss
Yellow
Brown
  • Preservation of soil humidity (Save Water)
  • Prevents sprouting of weeds
  • Suitable for cold regions
  • The brown side is turned towards the soil and yellow side is turned up. This raises the soil temperature (at the root level) and reduces damage done by the whitefly virus
Yellow
  • Reduce evaporation, soil water loss
  • The yellow colour attracts the whitefly, which reduces damage to the c rops by the whitefly virus
  • The film warms the soil at the root level
Green
  • Reduce evaporation, soil water loss
  • The green colour transmits light selectively, thus preventing the sprouting of weeds under the film
  • The film transmits heat and raises the soil temperature (at the root level)
  • Use of film will enable an early crop for strawberries, melons and watermelons and similar produce, allowing a higher market price
